RSI Bot
Basic settings
- Switch: Here you can set which gear you want to use. You can
currently trade on Binance and soon on OKX.
- API key: From the API keys saved in your account, you need to choose the one that corresponds to the variable you have set up. If you do not have one, you can only run RSI BOT in Demo mode!
- Pair: Choose which pair you want to trade with! You can only trade
the pairs that are enabled in the drop-down window. Start typing the first
letters and select the pair you want to trade. The first one is the base, the
second one the quoted currency (e.g. ETH / USDT).
- Name: Choose a name that you can easily find when starting multiple bots. You can also enter it based on your trading strategy. E.g. BNB B/40/3/1,5-3
- Folder: Place the trade in a folder. Choose a name that you can
easily find across multiple folders. If no folder is named, it will be added to
the list of RSI BOTs without a folder.
Calculation settings
Does the same apply to sales?
In this option you can choose whether you want to set the same settings for both the sell and buy side or use different candle settings.
- Source of candles.
- Candle Interval: The candle interval indicates how long the candles are in the RSI calculation (15M, 1H, 1D).
- Number of candles: indicates how many candles to use in the RSI calculation.
Trading settings
- Buy RSI Percent: The value from which the BOT can buy.
- RSI Direction: Indicates when to make the desired purchase.
- Falling: If it hits the top of our set value downwards, it will make a buy.
- Any: If our set value is affected from either direction, you are buying. Remember, in this case you buy twice as much as in a falling or rising pattern.
- Rising: If our set point is hit from the bottom to the top, you buy.
- Quantity (quoted): This field should be filled in if you want to enter the quantity in USDT. If you have filled in the base quantity, this will be automatically calculated for you by the BOT and entered. It is important to check the quantity you want!
Direction of sale:
- Sell RSI percentage: the value above which the BOT can sell.
- Selling Point Definition.
- SELL: If it crosses our set value from the top to the bottom, it will sell.
- Any: If it hits our set point from any direction, it will sell.
- Rising: If it hits our set value from the bottom up, it will sell.
- Minimum profit percentage: The minimum profit percentage you want to achieve.
Run settings:
If no API key is specified, you can only run RSI BOT in Demo!
- Demo: In demo trading, although the system works with real-time prices, it does not perform actual trading, so in this mode you can try out different settings and custom strategies without risk.
- Live: Performs actual trades using your capital in the exchange.
This is only possible if you have assigned an API key to your account and set
it up for trading!
- Repetitions: If you set this feature to unlimited, a buy or sell will be made every time the preset level is touched by the market price. The number of times a trade can be repeated can be limited (e.g.: RSI BOT trade can be repeated up to 5 times).
- It counts towards the limit: If you do not set this feature, the robot will trade freely with the total amount of capital in your account according to the settings. If you set the robot to use the full amount of your account, it will use up all of your capital in the event of a major fall, and will no longer be able to trade at a lower price level because it has spent the amount in your account. This is why it is important to use the Limit function! It is an essential part of continuous trading and capital protection!
If you specify in the Limit settings to allow e.g. $500 into a robot, it will trade with this $500 and will not have access to the rest of the capital, it cannot spend it. If the amount you have set in the Limit is used up, you can choose to make another amount of money available to the robot by editing the Limit and trading can continue at a lower price level.
